1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing GetProjectProof.com, purchasing a PROJECTPROOF product, or downloading or using a PROJECTPROOF digital product, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or products.
2. Digital products
PROJECTPROOF provides downloadable documentation tools, checklists, trackers, worksheets, and related digital materials. Product descriptions, contents, pricing, and availability may change over time. We may improve or replace files after purchase without guaranteeing that every past purchaser will receive every future edition or product.
3. Personal-use license
After a valid purchase, PROJECTPROOF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, print, and use the purchased files for your own personal, household, property, or internal project management purposes.
You may make reasonable working copies for your own project. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, publicly post, share download access, upload the files to public repositories, remove ownership notices, create competing template products from the files, or claim the materials as your own.
4. Not professional advice
PROJECTPROOF is an organizational and documentation tool. It is not a substitute for legal advice, a construction contract drafted by an attorney, engineering advice, contractor licensing guidance, financial advice, tax advice, insurance advice, code compliance review, inspection, or other professional services. Laws, permit requirements, lien rules, contract requirements, and construction practices vary by location and project.
You remain responsible for reviewing contracts, verifying contractors, complying with applicable law, obtaining permits and inspections, and deciding whether professional advice is appropriate.
5. Purchases and payment
Prices are shown before checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe. A purchase is complete when payment is successfully authorized and PROJECTPROOF receives confirmation. You agree to provide accurate payment and contact information and to use a payment method you are authorized to use.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PROJECTPROOF products are one-time purchases and do not create a recurring subscription.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Because the product is digital and access is provided after payment, refund eligibility is more limited than it would be for a physical product.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the site or products to violate law, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site operation, circumvent purchase verification or download controls, or use automated means to abuse the service.
8. Intellectual property
The PROJECTPROOF name, branding, website design, copy, templates, worksheets, graphics, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to PROJECTPROOF and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Purchasing a product gives you the limited usage license described above; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
9. Disclaimers
The site and digital products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that a checklist or recordkeeping method will prevent disputes, losses, contractor problems, cost overruns, delays, legal claims, insurance issues, or other project outcomes.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PROJECTPROOF and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for project losses, lost profits, lost data, contractor disputes, property damage, or decisions made based on the materials. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim related to a purchased product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The current version will be posted here with an updated effective or revision date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
